The Calendar of Events - the FCASH Flash is now designed to have new events added to it at your convenience.   Simply go to Submit FCASH Flash Event and enter the details of your events – as far in the future as you have them scheduled – and after the moderator clears the event, it’s posted to the calendar.

James Irvine Foundation to Share Results from the Cultural Engagement in California's Inland Regions at 10/17 Conference

The James Irvine Foundation commissioned consulting firm WolfBrown to conduct a research study on the patterns of cultural participation in the Inland Empire and the San Joaquin Valley. The study included door-to-door surveys of more than 1000 local residents, and internet surveys of nearly 5,000 residents to examine how people in these regions define cultural participation; how they participate in mainstream and alternative programming; and what barriers exist to providing culturally relevant programming. The full report will be available in October 2008.

2008 Fresno County Cultural Arts Economic Impact Study findings to be released at 10/17 Cultural Arts Conference

As part of Phase I of the Cultural Arts Public Awareness Campaign, FCASH contracted with the Americans for the Arts and conducted the first ever Fresno County Cultural Arts Economic Impact Study. Funding for Phase I of the Cultural Arts Public Awareness Campaign was provided by the Fresno Regional Foundation, the City of Fresno, the Indian Gaming Committee and the City of Clovis.
