Become a Member

Fresno proper is poised to firmly establish itself as the cultural center for the greater Central San Joaquin Valley. Vital to achieving this goal is the stability and strength of the region’s arts and cultural sector and its ability to build one strong image and identity.

The goals of the Fresno Coalition for Arts, Science and History directly align with the Fresno Cultural Plan addressing the following priorities:

  1. Build awareness and audiences.
  2. Increase the capacity of the arts, cultural, science and heritage organizations and artists to grow and expand audiences.
  3. Increase earned income and non-public sources of contributed income. Secure new sources of public funding.
  4. Exert a leadership role of the cultural sector in community affairs.

Ultimately, the Fresno Coalition for Arts, Science & History is dedicated to ensuring the health of the arts and cultural community through advocacy, communication, cooperation and collaboration.
